Jack E. Morrow, 63, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2011 at Bright Kavanagh House of lung cancer. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 6, 2011 at McLaren’s Chapel, 801-19th. Street, West Des Moines with interment at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at McLaren’s Chapel.
Jack was born in Des Moines on February 25, 1948 the son of Galen and Nancy (Smith) Morrow. He graduated from East High School in 1968. Jack was awarded the Purple Heart for his service during the Vietnam War. Jack was a member of the Am Vets Post #2.
He enjoyed gardening, fishing, boating, being with family and friends and his grandchildren.
Jack is survived by his daughters, Julie and Jackie Morrow; sisters Joyce Morrow and Peggy Jackson; and two grandchildren, Anthony and Mia Morrow. He was preceded in death by his parents, Galen and Nancy and his wife Toni.
