Kien Thi Deo, 85, went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2015. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 10 at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines with inurnment at Resthaven Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with a prayer service beginning at 6 p.m.
Kien was born September 18, 1929 in North Vietnam to Tem Van Deo and MinhThi Tao.
She is survived by her daughters, Nuoi Be and Lan Be; son-in-law, Chanh Nguyen; grandchildren, Hong Hoang, Hung Hoang, Khanh Hoang, Hoang Hoang, Khoi Hoang, Hoang Dung To, Vuong Thuy An, and Steven Nguyen.
Kien was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dam Be; daughter, Nhung Be; and son, Cuc Be.
