He was born on August 18, 1960. The son of Leandro Paloma and Elpedia Garcia Paloma. He married Gina Cammuca Paloma on April 22, 1982
At the age of 19, he started working for the City of West Des Moines. Where he worked for 33 yrs. He loved the game of Football. He was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan. He also coached parochial ball for Dowling with his late brother. He also loved spending time with his Family. Especially his Granddaughter Malia, whom he loved taking swimming every Summer. He loved listening to Mexican music and the music of his time. He loved gathering with his Family and Friends to have a great time.
He is survived by his wife, Gina Paloma, of 43 years. His children, David (Mandy) Schwenneker, Tony (Tammy) Carter, Monica (Mitch) Cossitt, Mark, and his granddaughter, Malia Paloma
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leandro and Elpedia Paloma, his brother Estafon Paloma, and nephew, Tino Ayala.
We will be having a Catholic Mass on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Ambrose Cathedral downtown. A luncheon will follow afterwards at the Eddie Davis Center in West Des Moines.
