Scott W Grubb, age 55, of Urbandale, Iowa passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023. A visitation will be held Monday, August 7, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at McLaren's Resthaven Chapel in West Des Moines, Iowa followed by a funeral service at noon. The burial will take place at Resthaven Cemetery immediately following the service.
Scott was born on August 3rd, 1967 into the loving home of Stephen and Patricia Grubb. He graduated from Valley High School in 1986. Scott was an avid outdoorsman and loved to go hunting and fishing with his friends and family. Scott was also a born-again Christian and made his love of the Lord Jesus Christ known to everyone. He had many curveballs thrown his way and even through his own pain, he was an inspiration to everyone for the strength he displayed through it all.
Scott is survived by his mother, Patricia; father, Stephen; sister, Brenda (Jeff); niece, Megan; nephew Logan; many cousins, uncles, and lots and lots of best friends.
Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents; his uncle Chark, aunt Dew Dew, aunt Za-Za, and cousin Craigee.
