Rob Robinson, 61, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at McLaren’s Chapel. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at McLaren’s Chapel with burial at Resthaven Cemetery.
Rob was born in Des Moines, IA to Walter (Tozz) and Dorothy Robinson. He was a graduate of Iowa State University, and had a very rewarding career with Steelcase, Inc. Rob was a natural athlete and enjoyed hunting, camping, boating and golfing.
Rob loved life, family, friends, and his hunting dogs. He was a man of great integrity and will be missed by all who were fortunate to know him.
Rob is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte; three children, Thad (Mandy) Neuman, Sarah (Mike) Saladino and Lindsay (Ryan) Winters; four grandchildren and sister, Suzanne Page.
