

HARWICH - Thomas P. Kendall Sr., 54, of Harwich, died July 17, 2012, in a tragic motorcycle accident.
Born on Cape Cod July 15, 1958, the second son of the late Ronald and Barbara Kendall, he graduated from Harwich High School in 1976.
Tom had worked for the family business, Kendall Paving Co., since age 16. He became the sole proprietor of Kendall Paving Co. in 2006.
Tom loved spending time with his family, going to the lovely beaches of Cape Cod, riding his Harley Davidson and traveling with his wife.
He was the loving and devoted husband of Pamela Kendall, with whom he spent 19 wonderful years; and the brother of Ronald Kendall Jr. of Harwich and Denise Peterson of Wareham. He leaves behind two daughters, Tonja Laine and son-in-law Stan of Dennisport, and Stephanie Kendall of Harwich; two sons, Thomas P. Kendall Jr. and James Nelson III, both of Harwich; two grandchildren, Christina and Cameron Laine; and three nieces and a nephew. He also leaves behind four German shepherds.
Tom was very active and involved in his children’s lives. His family and friends loved him and will miss him terribly. Tom was loved by all who met him. He was a very likable man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
Relatives and friend are invited to a visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Doane, Beal and Ames Funeral Home, 260 Main St., West Harwich. A graveside service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 26, at Island Pond Cemetery, Harwich. A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m.
