

D'UVA, Barbara Barbara D'Uva (n?e Barbara Plain) died unexpectedly and peacefully on May 31, 2018 in West Palm Beach, FL at the age of 79. Barbara is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Angelo A. D'Uva; children, Linda D. Attinelly (Kenneth) of Croton on Hudson, NY, Angelo R. D'Uva (Rosemary) of Danbury CT, and Robert J. D'Uva (Wendy) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; grandchildren, Jessica J. Redmond (Kevin) of Atlantic Highlands, NJ, Stephanie A. Tengeres (Andrew) of Monroe, CT, Michelle L. D'Uva of San Antonio, TX, Angelo "A.J." D'Uva (Emily) of Jones Creek, TX, Alexis A. D'Uva of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Samantha R. D'Uva of West Palm Beach, FL, and Brookelyn R. D'Uva of Gainesville, FL; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Hunter and Gavin Redmond, Collin and Skylar Tengeres, Easton D'Uva Hernandez, and Lila D'Uva. She was also an adoptive grandmother to Silvia Rossi (Marco Curti), Giovanni Rossi (Marta) and great-grandmother to Dafne Curti of Pavia, Italy. Barbara was born on August 5, 1938 in Ossining, NY. She is predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Robert Plain. She married Angelo of Pircio Cleaners in Ossining, in 1957. Barbara and Angelo lived in Ossining, raising three children until 1980. They then moved to West Palm Beach, FL and successfully continued in the dry cleaning business, as current owners of Angelo's Jack Sheehan's Cleaners. Barbara was known to be a grandmother and aunt to all that knew her. She was fondly called GiGi by her great-grandchildren, G-Unit, Grams, Grandma, Babs, Ma and other loving names that described her high energy and generous personality. She was a Meadow Park Elementary school volunteer, member of the PTA in Ossining, NY and West Palm Beach, FL, and a cheerleader at every sporting event. A visitation and service is scheduled for Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, located at 6411 Parker Ave, West Palm Beach FL from 4:00PM 7:00PM. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Barbara's life. An additional visitation and burial will be held the following week in Ossining, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
