Carl Wesley Young

It is with loving remembrance that we announce the passing of a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Born on August 10, 1956, in West Palm Beach, Florida, he was the cherished son of Lucy Young and A.C. Young. He was raised with strong family values and carried a deep love for his family throughout his life. He found great joy in the simple things—spending time fishing, attending family reunions, and enjoying sports. Being surrounded by family and friends was what mattered most to him, and he created many lasting memories with those he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents, A.C. Young and Lucy Young; his siblings, Gloria Young, Milton Young, and Ralph Young; and his brother-in-law, C.J. Hollis. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving children, Tunesia Young and Dr. Nicholas Young; his beloved grandchildren, Khalid Green and Tajiri Green; and his siblings, Sharon Ward, Marilyn Hollis, Angela Watson, Valorie Young Lezcano, Katie Young, Livia Jordan, Deryl Hollis, and Harvey Young.

He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Tonnie Watson and Rodolfo Lezcano and Sister-in-law Vivian Young along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 at Royal Palm Funeral Home located at 5601 Greenwood Avenue West Palm Beach, Florida from 5pm-8pm. A Celebration of Life will occur on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church located at 1313 Division Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33401 at 10:00am. A Committal Service will follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens located at 5601 Greenwood Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33407. Services are entrusted to Royal palm Funeral Home.
