84, of Lake Worth, passed away on April 12, 2014. Charles was born in New York, NY to the late Charles and Agnes Lindgren. He worked for the Highway Department for the City of New York until his retirement and move to Florida in 1991. Charles was an avid bowler and Mets fan. He bowled in the Wednesday night league at Greenacres Bowl up to the time of his death. Left to cherish his memory are his wife and best friend of 46 years, Mary Lindgren, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Nancy and Tony Marvits, nieces Linda Kaser(William), Marie Jakobsen, nephews Gary Jakobsen(Nancy ), Peter Marvits, Thomas Marvits(Colleen) and numerous great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Adele Jakobsen. The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL, CREMATION & EVENT CENTER at HILLCREST, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL, 33405.
