Doris Rose Persico

Doris Rose (Patricelli) Persico peacefully entered into heaven surrounded by family on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, in Pooler, Georgia. She was 91 years old. A native of Plainfield, New Jersey, Doris was the youngest of six children born in 1930 to Mary and Anthony Patricelli, of Troy, New York.

Doris was married for 56 years to Joseph M Persico of Gloversville, New York, who predeceased her in May of 2008. She is survived by her four children: Barbara Davis of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Debora Allan-Bailey of West Palm Beach, Florida, Joseph M. Persico Jr. of Pooler, Ga and John M. Persico of Plantation, Florida along with many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and countless extended family members who will carry on her traditions.

Doris will be remembered for her great love of her family, and her kind and generous heart. She was everyone's confidant, mentor, and counselor. Besides time with her family, her happiest moments were spent vacationing back in her beloved hometown of Troy, New York visiting her family and their businesses.

A celebration of life, a prayer service and Catholic burial was held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Royal Palm Funeral Home in West Palm Beach, Florida.
