Elizabeth "Libby" M. Temple

Elizabeth “Libby” Morgan Temple, 81 of Caldwell, WV passed away with her family by her side in her home in West Palm Beach, FL on Thursday, October 7th, 2021. She was a survivor of breast cancer twice in 1992 and 2015. She was later diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March 2020. She was strong and courageous and didn’t go down without a fight! Libby loved to love on people and was happiest being with her family and friends most.

She was born December 16th, 1939, in Caldwell, WV to Carl and Cleo Morgan. She was the youngest girl of three older brothers. She attended Greenbrier East High School and was on the majorette team. She later moved to Florida around 1962. For many years she worked for Pediatric Associates then became a homemaker with her own at home daycare and loved all the children as her own.

Libby enjoyed retirement with her belated husband of 49 years living back in her childhood home in West Virginia, but eventually became a snowbird spending her winters back to WPB, Florida.

She was a beloved wife of the late John C. Temple III. Dearest mother of Carl Wright, Micki Mitchell, Kathy Rodberg, Michael (Tracy) Temple, Diana (Michael) Perry. Cherished grandmother of Garett (Karine) Rodberg, Blake Mankowski, Danielle (Dean) Zelaya, Billy Mitchell, Dolly (Vinny) Romano, Teagan Temple, Piper Temple, Wyatt Temple, Ransom Temple, Carson Perry, Kendal Perry & Caden Perry. Great-grandmother of Angelina Rodberg, Melodie Romano, Vinny Romano Jr and Cora Zelaya. Dear sister of Jimmy Morgan and preceded by Phil and Pat Morgan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial will be held at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33406 on Friday, October 15th, 2021; with a private family time from 11am to 12pm. Friends may come from 12pm-1:30pm when services will begin followed by graveside services at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.
