I always called her ‘Aunt Evelyn’ even though she was my second cousin.  She and my mom, Janet Clark, we’re best of friends!  We drove to Blowing Rock to visit her for a few days and she treated us like royalty!  She was of the most generous women I’ve ever known.  So many memories.  Love you and will miss our chats!

Evelyn was a wonderful, intelligent and compassionate woman who made many friends. She was a great friend of my mother and became a friend of mine. I hope the family is able to take some comfort in knowing how many lives she touched.  My lunch visits at Harbors Edge were always bright spots in my calendar.
