Born on April 14, 1937, in Miami to Linda and Clyde Brown, Faith moved with her family to Pahokee at the age of three. Her Southern upbringing shaped her warmth, charm, and gracious spirit, qualities she carried throughout her life. She graduated from Pahokee High School where she was a star cheerleader and won Most Athletic Female of her senior class. She later attended Palm Beach Junior College, and while there she met Stanley Alan Tucker.
Faith and Stan married in 1957 and welcomed their first daughter, Stephanie, shortly after. When the family moved to Gainesville, and later to St. Petersburg for Stan’s education, Faith managed both caring for their baby and working to help support him through school. After returning to West Palm Beach, they added two more children, Stacey and Alan. While Stan established his law practice, Faith focused on raising their family and staying involved in the community, including many years of volunteer work with the Junior League.
After Stan’s early passing in 1983, Faith’s life took a new and joyful turn when she married Karl Watson in 1986. With the grace and generosity that came so naturally to her, Faith opened her heart and her home to the Watson family. In the way only she could, she blended four girls and two boys into one unified, loving family. For nearly 40 years, Faith and Karl built a rich life together, welcoming a combined 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Faith’s interests reflected her lively and vibrant personality. She was a longtime member of the Sailfish Club of Florida, Bear Lakes Country Club, Old Edwards Club in Highlands, NC and Burlingame Country Club in Sapphire, NC. Faith loved her summers at their mountain home near Cashiers, North Carolina, where she found her place organizing bridge games, hosting family and friends, and, of course, shopping. A dedicated bridge player, Faith was unwavering in her commitment to her games, no hurricane nor the birth of a grandchild could interrupt her bridge schedule.
She also gave generously of her time, serving for many years on the Palm Beach Atlantic University Women of Distinction Committee. Faith was a faithful and longtime member of Family Church, formerly known as First Baptist Church.
Faith held her Southern roots tight. Her home was always warm, welcoming, and filled with hospitality. She had a gift for making family and friends, along with all of her children’s friends, feel like they belonged. Faith loved to dance, to celebrate any occasion, and to spoil both her grandchildren and her beloved dogs. She was a true Southern belle, complete with perfectly set hair, freshly painted nails, and her signature lipstick.
Faith is survived by her husband, Karl; her children Stephanie Tucker, Stacey Arlosoroff (Chaim), Alan Tucker (Nancy), Karl Watson Jr. (Michele), Karlyn Sullivan (Peter), and Kendra Pearson; and her grandchildren Trey Tucker (Abbi), Michael Tucker (Hayley), Savannah Faby (Troy), Becca Werner (Phil), Jake Tucker, Sophie Arlosoroff, Tucker Arlosoroff, Christopher Phillips, Lindsey Parham (James), Bailey Sullivan, Karl Watson III, Maddie Sutliff (Eric), Brooke Pearson, Alex Watson, Kathleen Hook (Mason), Danny Pearson (Kinsale), Cameron Watson (Erin), Patrick Sullivan and Jackson Pearson; along with her great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Stan, her parents, her cherished aunts and many lifelong friends.
Faith’s family would like to thank Cassandra and all the caregivers who provided their love, comfort and care over the last few years.
Faith’s legacy is one of love, family, generosity, and joyful hospitality. She will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to those she loved, her gracious spirit, and the way she made every room brighter simply by being in it.
A funeral service will be held at Family Church Downtown on February 12, 2026 at 1pm. A reception will be held at Bear Lakes Country Club immediately following the service on Thursday, February 12, 2026. The family asks everyone to come dressed just as Faith did, full of color.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Faith’s honor to Peggy Adams Animal Rescue or Palm Beach Atlantic University.
