He attended and graduated PS57 then served his country honorably for two years in the Army during WW2. He moved to Florida with his wife and son in 1960 and opened the Embers Club. Frank was an insurance broker and also worked for the Breakers Hotel for over twenty-three years.
An active member of St. Juliana Catholic Church for over fifty years, Frank served as a head usher and Extraordinary Minister for the former 8:00 Mass and, currently, the 9:00 Mass. Frank evangelized his faith through his welcoming ways and kind actions leading by example.
He is survived by his beloved wife of over 62 years, Emilia, his "Pidge"; his quiet son, Frank Jr.; his devoted daughter, JoAnne; his faithful companion, Bella; two brothers, Anthony and Joseph; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
An avid sportsman and believer in fair play, Frank bowled and won both team and individual bowling championships playing with friends and team mates for over fifty years. Frank also enjoyed playing golf, baseball, football, and shuffleboard and routing for the home teams--the Marlins, Dolphins, Heat, Hurricanes. He often would joke that there is "No love in tennis".
Frank was a Fourth Degree Knight and Color Guard, Cursillist and former Marriage Encounter facilitator. Always with a smile, an infectious joke, Frank exemplified kindness, humor, hard work and loyalty. Friends and loved ones, in fond remembrance lift up your coffee cups and salute, "Nustrovia, Frank!"
