My heart is so heavy. I only new George for almost 2 years we worked together. Always willing to help and never said no. I will always remember and miss our daily chats and prayers. May you rest in peace and watch over Yolanda and baby Jr. May god bless them and give Yolanda the strength she needs to through this and raise the baby. Prayers for family and friends. Life is short. Please hug and say  l love you daily to your family and closed friends.

I’m at a loss for words. George and I graduated from Forest Hill High c/o 1982. We’ve known each other since middle school, and I can’t believe he’s gone. My prayers go to his family, friends, and Yolanda and his new precious baby boy. My heart is heavy, but I’ll remember the good times and memories we shared. George will keep them in line on those streets of gold! RIP my friend. 💙

George was my 2nd FTO after I joined LWPD. We became good friends and thoroughly enjoyed seeing him at reunions. Such fond memories of the man that always seemed to have a smile on his face. Rest well George, you positvely impacted  so many lives.

George was a good guy and a good cop. When we saw him at reunions, you could see how he cherished his time at the LWPD. We were all brothers and sisters. Prayers for his family. He will be missed. 

Even though we don’t know each other, my heart goes out to you. Our husbands loved their family, being in law enforcement, friends, motorcycles and God.  From one recent widow to another you will get thru this and George will always be looking down at you and your son. He will comfort you, he will alway be with you in your heart. Your friends in Blue,will be your family. My husband loved his time at  Lake Worth PD.

George was beloved by all of us at LWPD.  He was a great guy and a great officer - the kind we wished we always had 20 more just like him.  We are all terribly sad for his loss and the heartbreak that his new baby boy will not know him.  We will all keep Yolanda and Georgie in our thoughts and prayers.
