Ida Blanche Fuller age 88 of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on March 30, 2014 and was led to the Gates of Heaven by her late son, Andrew Fuller, whom has been waiting for her arrival since 1978. Ida was born on October 2, 1925 in LaGrange, Florida to her eagerly awaiting parents, the late Mr. Andrew Riley Futch and the late Mrs. Ida Blanche (nee Lawhon) Futch. In 1933, Ida moved to the Palm Beach County area with her family and in later years met the love of her life, Theodore F. Fuller, Sr. and they married and raised two sons, Theodore F. Fuller, Jr. and Andrew Fuller. Ida was quite the expert seamstress and could fix any garment that needed mending or make her own curtains or slip covers for her sofa. She also was a private passenger pilot along with her husband, Theodore and they traveled many a trip together in various private passenger planes across the United States. Ida was the family archivist/historian keeping all of her family lineage in order. She was the go to person for historical knowledge and facts both past and present surrounding her family lineage. Ida was a quiet, witty and respectable "Lady" at all times. Her demeanor was always comfortably pleasant to each and everyone who came into her presence. She most definitely lived up to the scriptural verse in Galations 5:22-23, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." Ida was called home to serve under God's grace and secure safe passage for her family since she has gone before them. She leaves behind to forever honor and keep her memory, her loving and devoted husband of seventy one years, Theodore F. Fuller, Sr. of West Palm Beach, Florida, her loved son, Theodore F. Fuller, Jr. of Tampa, Florida; her two daughter-in-laws, Janet Ranking of West Palm Beach, Florida and Ellen Fuller of Lake Worth, Florida; her five adored grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends also survive her. Family and friends will come together to visit and pay respects on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center at Hillcrest, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33405, (561) 833-4061. Christian Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33405, (561) 582-4131.
