Joan Leonard Mousel went to be with the Lord Aug.15, 2017.Born in Johnson City, TN, Sept. 27, 1939 to Helen Ruth Smith and Lewis James Leonard. Joan came to West Palm Beach at the age of 10 and graduated from Palm Beach High in 1957.
In 1960 she married Donald Mousel, the love of her life for 54 years. After raising 3 children, Joan served as an elementary school teacher’s aide for 10 years at Belvedere Elementary School.
Joan was predeceased by her parents Helen and Lewis Leonard, her youngest son Steven Douglas Mousel and Donald Mousel her husband. Brothers Jim, George and Jack Leonard.
Joan is survived by her daughter Leslie Mousel, son Bradley Mousel, daughter in law Jackie Mousel, William Mousel and wife Lisa. Grandsons Anthony and Stephen Nunez, Great granddaughter Nina Nunez. Sister Suzie Rankin, sisters in law Norma, Susan and Joanne Leonard, sister in law Verona, several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33405 on Saturday August 19, 2017 at 2pm.
