

Kevin Coppe, age 62, passed away in West Palm Beach, after illness from diabetes. He was born in Oakland, CA, to Daniel and Kathleen Coppe; and raised in Santa Clara, CA, attending Buchser High School where he was named MVP playing water polo.
He moved to West Palm Beach in 1981 to be near his Uncle John Coppe, who taught him to be a skillful and proud skydiver. Later he married Ena del Busto, and together they enjoyed time barbequing, entertaining friends, travel on cruises and visiting family in California.
He worked at Al Packer Ford before moving to Palm Beach Motor Cars and specialized as a Master Technician on Saabs and other Foreign cars. For several years Kevin owned Kevin’s Kar Car then went on to Mercedes-Benz of Palm Beach, where he was fondly nicknamed Gomez by his friends at the shop because of his mustache, before retiring.
He was an avid Oakland Raiders Fan. He loved fishing and darts and kept his friends laughing with his jokes, good sense of humor and pranks.
Kevin was predeceased by his father, Daniel Coppe, and his wife Ena del Busto Coppe. He is survived by his loving mother, Kathleen Stevens (Danville, CA), sister, Mary Ann Lown (Los Gatos, CA) sister, Karen Carrigg (Hollister, CA) and brother John Coppe (Concord, CA). He is deeply missed by his nephews, Michael Borwey, David Carrigg and Daniel Carrigg. Much loved and missed by his aunts Irene Shumaker, Rachael Bauwens, Eileen Davies and Uncle Redmond Burke. Missed by long time and true friend Trevor Daly, Gary Carney, Ron Young, Maria, his longtime house keeper, and especially by his new love of 2 years, Donna McLaughlin.
The family will receive visitors from 6:00-9:00pm on Friday, October 5th with a prayer service at 6:30pm. Burial will follow on Saturday, October 6th at 10:00am.
Friends and family are invited to a reception immediately following the burial services at 7071 at Pine Tree Lane, West Palm Beach.
