I wish we had more time. More time to say thank you for the time you took for me throughout the years. All of the delicious food you made, the boyfriend advice you gave (🙂), rushing me to the airport to go back to school after we took too long at supper and almost missed my flight, walking me down the aisle at my wedding, the hugs you gave me and my kids when we saw you when we came to visit. I wish I had more time to appreciate you more, say thank you more, just talk a little more. I hope you know that I did love you. I will see you later, I know I will. Rest In Peace. 

Kevin, you have been a part of our family for a large portion of my life. Thirty years of being married to my mom and as my stepfather. You've been a part of so many family holidays, events, birthdays, marriages, birth of grandchildren. We've had our ups and our downs through the years. I'll always remember how you took care of my mom when she was really sick a few years ago. I wish you knew how much you are missed and how profoundly sorry I am that we just did not take the time to tell you enough that we love and care about you. I cannot think about you without shedding a tear and remembering the sound of your voice, how your laugh sounded more like a snicker, or how you would hover around the backside of the couch as we watched T.V. and just chat with us. Every time I visit my mom, I will miss your presence. I will miss your late night snacking, wonderful restaurant suggestions, and great big bear hugs as you said goodbye. My hope is that you are at peace and resting knowing that you will forever be missed. This picture is how our family remembers you...happy. 

I was married to Kevin for almost 30 years.  There are  so many beautiful memories we made together. I still remember the moment we met, he was A  dedicated soldier and proud to defend his country. Through good times and not so good times we held onto each other. We knew we were always going to be in each others lives No matter where life took us. I remember all the things that he taught me around the kitchen that I will never forget. His love for music, his sense of humor and that special laugh that was bigger than life. Kevin  was a huge part of my family and we all loved him. I love you and miss you! 

R.i.p. Kevin we thank you for your service.  We only knew you a few years.  I remember you came from overseas to be with my sister and your daughter (Amber our niece) to our Mothers funeral and you were in your dress blues when you helped carry her into the church. We thank you for being there for all of us.
