

Luz Maria Dominguez was called home on February 11, 2013 to join the "Angels in Heaven" after serving her "Lord and Savior" for over 101 years. Mrs. Dominguez began her earthly journey on October 25, 1911 in Habana, Cuba to the late Mr. Calletano Fontes and the late Mrs. Natalia (nee Carmona) Fontes. She moved to the United States of America in 1971 from her hometown in Cuba. Luz was a strong-willed and determined lady, who always kept herself immaculately neat and clean. She endeavored to raise her family as good Christians, never outspoken or harsh towards her fellowman. As quoted in Proverbs 31:10-31, "Who can find a Virtuous Woman for her price is far above rubies", Luz endeavored to follow God's teachings. She attended St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Belle Glade, Florida for many years with her family for Sunday morning worship. Luz loved to read her Bible and her other love was sewing and creating hand made clothing for her family. She will forever be remembered for her warm smile, soft-spokenness, truthful voice, loving and giving ways. She will be forever loved and adored by her daughters, Dulce Maria Dominguez of Royal Palm Beach, Florida and Mirian Aucar and her husband, Jose Pedro Aucar of Belle Glade, Florida; hre admired sister, Carmen Fontes of Cuba; her five loved grandchildren, Olga, Alberto, Yusimy, Graciella and Juan Carlos; five precious great grandchildren, Gelly, Annette, Donald Jr., Karla and Payton. A Celebration of Life Service will follow with Father Jose Crucet of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church the Celebrant.
