God has welcomed another angel home.

Pat knew me from the very beginning of my life. She watched me grow from a child playing in the front yard to a young adult packing for college. To say Pat was a great person would be an understatement. She was truly an extraordinary  kind, loving soul whose light shone brightly on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Pat welcomed my parents when they first moved to the city. She greeted them with nothing but kindness and a genuine desire to make them feel that they were not alone. That compassion and generosity were simply who she was, someone who made people feel seen, valued, and at home.

The amount of kindness she carried never went unnoticed. If anything, growing up, it inspired me to be the best version of myself that I could be, and for that, I will always be grateful. I thank her for the example she set and the impact she had on my life.

Her warmth, generosity, and presence touched so many lives, and her memory will continue to shine in the hearts of those she loved. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

To Pat, thank you for being a light in my life. I know you are resting in peace, I feel blessed to have known such a wonderful human being.
