

Paul Abner Thomas was the third son of Lester Abner Thomas and Mary Alice Comfort Thomas born on June 13, 1942 in Horseheads, NY. Paul entered his heavenly home on August 15, 2025 at his home in Lake Worth, Florida. Paul lived his Christian Faith to the fullest.
Along with his parents, Paul was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Amanda Daine Thomas in 2002 and his cherished wife, Diane Thomas in 2024. As well as, two brothers, Jack and Delell Thomas.
Surviving is his older brother, Eugene Thomas Sr. of Summerfield, Florida and numerous nieces and nephews. “Uncle Paul” made each one feel special and loved and he will be missed deeply.
Paul was on the swim team and graduated from Lake Worth High School in 1960. In 1965 he graduated from Tennessee Temple College with a BA Major in Psychology and in 1968 received a Master in Education and Certification in Counseling. Paul never stopped wanting to learn new things and research a wide variety of topics.
Paul truly had a special love for all the students he taught and counseled. His teaching and guidance counselor career spanned several Lake Worth schools. He met the love of his life Diane at North Grade Elementary in 1966. They were married in 1976 and welcomed their precious daughter Amanda in 1977. Their family is once again complete in heaven.
Paul had been a licensed electrician having two businesses, U-Neek Electric and Safe Electric.
Graveside services will be Monday, August 25 at 3 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral & Hillcrest Memorial Park 6411 Parker Ave. West Palm Beach, Florida. Rev. Kevin Mahoney will officiate. Share memories and food with the family immediately following the graveside service at the home of Laura Stinson.
