

Perry C. Coley was born to the parents of Charlie Coley and Pearline Bryant on November 20, 1939, in Pineview, Georgia. His family moved from Georgia to Florida in 1954 where they settled in Riviera Beach.
It is in Palm Beach County where Perry established his career, got married, and started a family. Perry had a strong work ethic and understood the value of a hard days’ work. Perry was an auto mechanic by trade and applied that skill to his love of fast cars, drag racing, and auto repair.
Perry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ruby Coley; two daughters, Angela Knowles and Lisa Spann (Patrick Spann); four grandsons Travon Edwards, Tye Edwards, DeAndre Edwards, and Marcus Spann; great granddaughter Tia Marie Edwards; a brother Walter Kendrick; two sisters Annie Ree Grimes (Leon Grimes) and Annie Laura Myrick (William Myrick); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother Nathaniel Coley and sister Bertha Stone.
Perry C. Coley affectionately known as “Perry C”, “Pre”, and “Uncle Pre”, peacefully departed this life on August 29, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was loved and his memory will be forever cherished until we see him again.
A visitation will occur Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Royal Palm Funeral Home, 5601 Greenwood, West Palm beach , Fl. 33407. A celebration of life will follow at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens. Services are entrusted to Royal Palm Funeral Home.
