Shawn Hale Harlan

Shawn Hale Harlan of West Palm Beach, FL passed away on April 17th, 2023. Shawn was born May, 10th, 1979 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY to Patricia "Patty" Slicker and Harold "Bart" Harlan.

Shawn was married to Michelle Marie Eversfield of West Palm Beach, FL in a private ceremony on May 15th, 2013 and they later celebrated their nuptials with family and friends on January 30th, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents Patricia and Harold Harlan, and by his father-in-law John Eversfield.

He is survived by his wife Michelle and their two sons Carter Henry and Luke Hale Harlan, as well as his mother-in-law Martha Eversfield, all of West Palm Beach, FL. Daughter Nastasia Hassler-Harlan and fiancé Dennis Viola and their three children Michael, Max, and Marcelina of Monroe, NY. As well as his brother Scott Vanim of Forked River, NJ, sister Tracey Slicker of Vineland, NJ, and his aunt Marilyn "Cookie" Long of Wharton, NJ.

Shawn's smile, positive energy, and passion for life was infectious. Shawn would help people any way he could. He would hop on a plane in a heartbeat to be present whenever he was needed with friends and/or family. He was great at keeping in touch with those that meant the most to him, and loved nothing more than reconnecting with childhood friends. He can never be replaced, never be forgotten, and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 at the Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL at 12:00pm. A second Celebration of Life will also take place in Ramsey, NJ on Saturday, May 21st for his northern-based friends and family.
