

On September 2, 1950, Warren and Ethel Lee Hobbs welcomed their first-born son, Warren Hobbs, Jr. to navigate the world with his infectious smile. Warren was a natural born leader who completed his educational journey through the Palm Beach County School system ending with graduation from Lake Shore Junior Senior High School in 1971. Following graduation Warren was drafted for the United States Army where he served in the Vietnam War receiving the National Defense Service and Marksman (Rifle M-16) medals of honor. Following an honorable discharge, he held long term employment positions as a bus driver, elevator mechanic and transport driver.
Warren had a natural God given talent with directions as God directed his path. He loved to cook, entertain and was always the life of any party and family gathering. His sense of fashion and small stature provided him with the affectionate name Lil Bruh. His baked beans became a staple in the family with many trying to duplicate his famous dish but never completed mastering his special touch. His dancing ability had many paying to see his moves on the dance floor. Warren was a smooth navigator and operator that loved his family.
On Tuesday, April 29th, God took full control of the navigation wheel and led Warren to his heavenly home. Warren was preceded in death by Parents - Warren Hobbs Sr. and Ethel Lee Hobbs; Son Ricky Dwight Hobbs; Daughter - Turshielda Hobbs; Brothers – Hershie Hobbs, James Hobbs, Greg Hobbs: Sister – Dorothy Hobbs. Warren leaves to navigate with the instructions provided and his memorable smile: Children – Sharon Wrisper (Quentin), Nathasha Hobbs, Takiya Hobbs, Annie Jones (Kenneth), Latoya Robinson, Warren Hobbs III (Laya), Rodrick Hobbs, Jermaine Hobbs, and Chedrick Hobbs; Siblings – Shirley Wright (Rufus), Timothy Hobbs (Sandra), Patricia Hobbs, Wendy Crawford (Al); Sister-in-Law – Retha Hobbs; 26 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
A visitation for Warren will be held Friday, May 9, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, 5601 Greenwood Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33407. A final viewing will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM with a homegoing service immediately following 11:00 AM at Greater Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, 1340 30th Street, Riviera Beach, FL 33404. Services are entrusted to Royal Palm Funeral Home.
