To Emory. - Steve did make the donation to the U.W. Chemistry Dept Chair position. I was with him at the banquet about 3 years ago where all the donors were honored. I miss that hardy laugh of his. A wonderful friend for many years.

Steve was a friend of mine. We did meals and trips to computer shows in Boston and New York City. He was our original Webmaster for Mac Users Of Delaware. i had a family Wedding to go to in Madison Wisc and he happened to be visiting his father at the same time. I met his Father and he came to the wedding reception. i met his son at a few computer conventions. i hope he got the Chair at Univ of Wisc Chemistry Dept like he planned. Rest peacefully my friend.

PS - Just found out today about Stephen's passing.

I met Steve in 1971 when I first became a Baha’i. I remember his gentle soul and loving heart. He was so kind and I always enjoyed his company. You are missed my old friend

I have thought so much about Steve. We lived on the same street through high school and reconnected on Facebook a couple of years ago. I remember the cherry trees in their backyard and being invited for lunch. His mom made the best tomato soup. He wanted to come back to Wisconsin but it was not to be. Rest easily, Steve. The last months were too hard.

Steve you were my very first friend when I moved to the West side of Madison in 1954. We went through 6th grade, junior high at Cherokee, high school at Madison West, and college at the University of Wisconsin Madison. We were both chemistry geeks and members of the science club together in high school. We played football on the Pickford St. Pirates and you were the center blocking for me when I ran the ball. You went on to become the professional chemist and I took the path to teaching that amazing subject and coaching track and cross country. We went to some class reunions together, came down to your place in WPB and hit a Packer game a couple of years back. Lots of memories dear friend. Love you always and see you at the finish line when it's my time. Your friend forever- Randy

I met you through the local Facebook Cooking page, you were a talented man and always complimented others on the foods they posted.
I was glad to be a small part of your life and glad to be there when you needed help. RIP my friend.
