Terri W Merrow

Terri was born June 17, 1945 in Chicago, IL to Susie (Marable) and David N. Wade.

She married Robert Scott Merrow on February 1, 1969 in Batavia, IL.

Terri thoroughly enjoyed her career as a teacher’s assistant for over 27 years and was integral to the success of many children in the school district where she taught, and those students knew she “had their backs”, just as they had hers. She remained a confidant and friend to several of them down through the years.

She had many interests, which included singing alto in the church choir, she was a faithful attendee of the Zion United Methodist Church in West Salem, IL, was a member of the Pretty Women Red hatter’s Club, and was on the West Salem Library Board.

Terri was loved by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dean M.”Buck” Wade.

She is survived by her husband of over 44 years, Scott Merrow, one daughter , Sarah (Dean Roth)Merrow-Roth of Aurora, IL, one son John (Kelly) Merrow of Plano, IL, and four granddaughters: Alekza, Raquel “Rocky”, Emily and Kayley.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2PM on Thursday, May 16th, 2013 at the Zion United Methodist Church in West Salem, IL. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Mt. Carmel.

Visitation will be held from 5PM to 7PM on Wednesday, May 15th at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Zion United Methodist Church.
