Connor was born on May 14, 1994 in Vancouver where he spent the first 5 years of his life in Douglas Park. He moved to West Vancouver in 1999 and attended Cypress Park & West Bay Elementary Schools, then graduated from Rockridge Secondary School in 2012.
From a very young age Connor loved animals, cars & travel. If anyone showed interest in what Connor liked, he would spend countless days researching it. Connor did a lot of travelling in the past 10 years or so. He went to Italy, Japan, Beijing, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, India and many family trips to Hawaii, Arizona, and locally on our boat. He loved animals and had dogs, hamsters, and many reptiles. He bought his first car in 2011, a 1991 Toyota, and then a Datsun 710.
In Connors spare time he loved to watch YouTube videos, movies, comedy, ride his bike, listen to music, visit his dog Maddie and hang out with friends.
Connor was so easy going, yet a very complex person. He had his struggles in life and worked hard to overcome them. With the aid of his friends, Ian Marcel Yalloway and Bert Pasqualotto they helped him on that journey over the past 2 ½ years. Connor lost Ian to Cancer in January 2020 and one of his best childhood friends Sebastian in May 2015. These events were very difficult for Connor to process.
In September of 2019 he moved in with his childhood friends Alex, Cody and Sean. He was happy, working and moving forward.
In the last week of Connors life, he travelled to Toronto to spend a week with his brother, Chase. We are so happy that trip happened and that he dropped by to see his Mom and dog Maddie the day before he died. His sudden passing on March 7, 2020 was a total shock to all of us.
Anyone that had the chance to spend time with Connor would know that he was funny, smart, generous and kind. He always put others before himself. Our last conversations with Connor ended with a hug and I love you's (as it always had)
Words will never describe the level of devastation we are feeling right now, and we would give anything to hear Connors infectious laugh & see his smile just one more time. We were very proud of you, for everything you did even when you thought it was not enough. Connor is survived by his Mom Kymn Crowson, Dad Scott, Brother Chase, Grandparents, and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.
We think of you every day and miss you so much Xoxo Mom, Dad & Chase.
