Donald William McAdam

Beloved husband of Karen Black, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2026.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Jacqueline McAdam and Steven McAdam; their mother Corinne Bees; and his grandchildren, Rachel, Sheldon, Teya, and Kai. Don was a devoted father and grandfather who welcomed his stepchildren and step-grandchildren into his family with warmth and care.

His workshop was a cherished place in the family home – a safe, welcoming space where Don shared his time, skills, and sense of fun with those he loved.

Don was a Professor in the Department of Engineering at The University of British Columbia and the author of the bestseller called Engineering Graphics. Through his work and dedication he made a lasting contribution to the university community and touched the lives of many.
