Mr. George Werner Corlin

January 20, 1929 - September 12, 2012

Geo passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Copenhagen, Denmark and immigrated to Canada in 1951.

Predeceased by his loving wife Dode (Ratledge), his parents Carle

and Marjrethe and his brothers Carl and Paul. Survived by his sons,

Steve (Dianne), Andy (Nicky), and Trevor, his grandchildren Nicole,

Justin, Brandon, and Matthew, his brothers Henri, Valther (Lone) and

sister Chrissy, and by his partner Emily, who lovingly thought of him as

her darling Dane. He will also be remembered fondly by Emily's family

and his many other relatives and friends. Geo was a loving and caring

father, grandfather and partner and will be deeply missed. He had a great

sense of humour that will live on forever through all of the lives he touched.

At his request there will be no funeral but a Celebration of Life which will be

held for relatives and close friends at a later date. The family would like to

thank the caring staff at the North Shore Hospice. In lieu of flowers, a donation

in George's name to the North Shore Hospice Society would be appreciated.
