HAWKINS, Gladys after a full life of 89 years has moved on to the next stage of her journey. She has left behind a legacy of strength, courage, and optimism for her loving family. She will be fondly remembered by us all for her contagious zest for life and her love for her Red Hat Society. Gladys is survived by 3 daughters, Sandra McGilvery(Jay), Kym Binns (Mel Lomenda), and Sherry Hawkins (Barry), and her grandchildren Susan Hodges, Tyler McGilvery, and Darcy McGilvery, as well as 9 great grand children. Our Family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the staff at the Lions Gate Hospital for their constant care and concern while attending to Gladys over the past three months.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 15 at 2:00 at Spuraway Gardens Lodge at 235 Keith Rd, West Vancouver.
