It is with immeasurable sadness that we share with you the passing of our beloved Mother, Jean Minchin, an extraordinary woman who was the best Mother and friend to her three children, Susan (Keith), Carolyn (Geoff) and Michael (Anne). A wonderful grandmother to Matthew and Kevin and step-grandmother to Steve, Blair and Steph. Pre-deceased by our Father, her beloved husband Gordon, Mom was truly exceptional, as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. When we were growing up she always put the needs of our family first and this carried on into our adult years. She was our centre, full of wisdom and grace and the epitome of kindness and patience. Never a day went by that we didn’t feel loved. The feeling was mutual though, she knew how much we adored her and the void her passing has left is infinite. Our thanks to Dr Kathy Bell-Irving and Cameron for your medical care and caring over the years and to her lovely neighbours who demonstrated such genuine affection for her. We are especially grateful to our wonderful sister Sue who’s unwavering devotion to our Mom extended not just the quality of Mom's life but longevity as well.

One more day, one more time One more sunset maybe we’d be satisfied But then again, we know what it would do Leave us wishing still for one more day with you.

Hi Caroline & Susan — I remember your Mum from many years ago when married to your Dad. She had a calm and elegant manner and always a delight to see with her quick sense of humour. Not only was she a beautiful lady, her calm demeanour was not to be underestimated. I know you were so close to your Mum—I am so sorry for your loss.
Warm regards—-
