The Rev. Louis Ernest (Lou) Rivers, retired ArchDeacon of Capilano and Rector of St. Christopher’s Anglican Church, West Vancouver.
Lou died, peacefully, at home with his family by his side, after a long battle with cancer. He will be very sadly missed by his loving wife, Georgie; daughter, Angela (Jia Condon); son, Ted (Lynda); his much loved grandchildren, Aidan, Nathan, Leland, Oneida, Ella, Elias and Alex; his sister, Frankie (Phil); four nephews and their families.
The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Doctors and Staff at B.C.Cancer Agency, The North Shore Home Support Team of Palliative Care Providers and especially Dr. David Hazlett who provided exceptional care and support.
A celebration of Lou’s life will take place on Friday September 21, 2012 at 11:00am at St. Christopher’s Church, 1068 Inglewood Avenue, West Vancouver, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lou’s memory to the B.C. Cancer Foundation or a charity of your choice.
