Soghra (Zinat) was born in Tehran, Iran. She was one of the first Iranian women to graduate from University of Tehran, Faculty of Law, and Political Science. She was an avid reader, loved poetry and was a firm believer in women’s rights and social justice. She had a career spanning several decades in Education and Law. Zinat was pe-deceased by her younger sister Afsar and brother Taghi. She is survived and dearly missed by her daughters Mimi Mullins (Roger) and Mahak Yaseri (Khosrow) as well as her two grandsons Bobby and Alexander.
