It is with sadness and regret that we announce the passing of our Father on March 16, 2020
He loved great food & wine, and was a true chef, cooking big meals at every opportunity. He loved the ocean, fishing and hot sunny days. He was a natural athlete and especially enjoyed playing hockey, baseball and golf. He was a passionate entrepreneur and taught us all about working hard.
Bill started working for his Father at a marine supply store. While attending UBC he worked on fish packers and scientific research vessels. After graduating from UBC and starting a family, he became interested in the stock market and became a research analyst and stockbroker. The second part of his life was dedicated to Stealth Minerals and Cascadero Copper.
Predeceased by Father William G McWilliam and Mother, Joyce McWilliam, sisters Alix and Nancye, and wife Judith Harder.
Survived by brother Don McWilliam, sister Cheryll McWilliam, children Paul (Mary), Dana (Mike), Lindsay (Tim), Julian, stepchildren, Amber, Rhiannon and Webster, and 7 grand children.
Donations to the Canadian Red Cross in lieu of flowers.
A celebration of life will be held later due to the current COVID 19 circumstances.
