Billie Joyce Pearson

She was born in Thorndale, Texas and lived in Westlake. She was a member of the Westlake Nazarene Church where she taught Sunday school. She was also a member of Eastern Star Chapter 228, and a past Matron. She was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Stuart Pearson of Westlake; son, Harold Thomas Ellender and wife, Linda of Gainesville, TX; her special angel Jacob Scott Williams; sister, Betty Lois Reeves of Rockdale, TX; grandchildren, Anthony Ellender of Gainesville, TX, Barry Biffle of Weston, FL, Chris Ellender of Spring, TX and Jennifer Steadham of Forestburg, TX; 9 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be 5pm, Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. The Rev. Mike Howard will officiate. Visitation will begin on Tuesday 10am-9pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Rockdale, TX on Thursday April 19, 2012 at 1pm. The family request in lieu of flowers to please make donations to the Eastern Star Chapter 228.
