

He was born December 5, 1921 in Avery Island and moved to Westlake at the age of 18. He worked at Conoco for 42 years and was a proud Marine of WWII. He fought on the Islands of Tarawa, Siapan and Tinian. He entertained anyone who would listen, with his war stories till the very end. He was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Hazzie R. LeBlanc of Westlake; sons, C. J. LeBlanc and wife, Pam of Topsy and Leonce Patrick LeBlanc and wife, Rita of Westlake; daughters, Barbara Foy Guillory and husband, Jerry, Elaine Roach and husband, Joe and Tracie Henry all of Westlake; sister, Stella Treanor of Watsonville, CA; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonce and Enix Decuir LeBlanc; brother, Joseph LeBlanc ; sisters, Clara Folds and Betty Duke; two infant daughters, Genevieve and Theresa LeBlanc; grandson, C.J. (Joseph) LeBlanc III; and son-in-law, Ronnie Foy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am Monday, November 12, 2012 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church. Visitation will begin Sunday, 1pm-9pm with a rosary to be said at 6:30pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake and resume Monday, 8am until service time. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
