Darrell Lee Hoover

Darrell was born to John D. “Jack” Hoover and Alice Darden Hoover. He has resided in the Westlake area for his whole life. He married Judy Carter Hoover, and they have been married for 26 years. Darrell was a self employed Rancher.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Hoover.

Survivors are his wife, Judy Hoover of Lake Charles, LA; mother, Alice Hoover of Westlake, La; sister, Darlene Hoover of Westlake, LA; brother, Ronald Hoover and wife Kathy of Maurice, LA; mother and father-in-law: Joy and Buddy Carter of Moss Bluff, LA; nephews: Graham Johnson and wife Christina of Westlake, LA, and Adam Hoover of Milton, LA; niece Sarah Lofin of Youngsville, LA; several great nieces and nephews; a brand new great-great niece Jolie; numerous close friends along with many animals.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 9:00 a.m until 12:30 p.m at the Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Funeral Services will be at 12:30 p.m at the Funeral Home. Brother Yarborough will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Griffin Hills Cemetery in Lone Pine, LA where a graveside service will start at 3:30 p.m.
