Eloise Daughdrill

She was born to her late parents, John and Cora Fontenot on December 20, 1928 in Ville Platte, LA. She enjoyed gardening, cooking for her family on Sundays, and being a homemaker.

She is survived by her two children, Larry Daughdrill and wife Suzanne of Westlake, Gilda McMillin and husband Mickey of Moss Bluff; six grandchildren, Kyle McMillin, Stacy Goss, Julie McMillin, Lane Daughdrill, Lee Daughdrill, Keely Robinson; eleven great grandchildren, Hunter Racca, Evan Goss, Eli Goss, Emily McMillin, Deklan Daughdrill, Tanner Anderson, Tanner McMillin, Baylee Robinson, Demi Daughdrill, Delane Daughdrill, and Dub Daughdrill.

Eloise is preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Wilson "Dub" Daughdrill; and nine sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00am on Monday, November 19, 2018 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Barras officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 5:00pm-8:00pm with a Rosary at 6:00pm, led by Deacon Fred Reed. Visitation will resume at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Monday, from 8:00am until the procession to the church. Burial will follow at Westlake Memorial Cemetery.
