A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a nurse at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital for 20 years. She then took care of people in their homes. She loved caring for people. She is preceded in death by her parents and four siblings as well as two husbands Harry Guillory and Qulice Fontenot and daughter Genieve Fontenot. She leaves behind two sons Michael Fontenot of Westlake, Timothy Fontenot of DeQuincy, two daughters Katherine Fontenot Newman of Westlake, Carolyn Johnson and husband Marcus of Valdosta, Georgia, one brother Floyd LaVergne, one sister Jean Miller both of Lake Charles, nine grandchildren: David, Jessica, Geni, Eva, Timmy, Joey, Sara, Brandi, Natty, and eight great grandchildren Rhiana, Michael, William, Ethan, Jace, Harley, Kinli, and River.
