He was a US Naval Veteran, serving during the Vietnam Conflict. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Hayzlett; parents, Elbert and Jean Hayzlett.
He is survived by his sons, Travis Hayzlett and wife, Nicole of Alice, TX and Trevor “TJ” Hayzlett; mother-in-law, Mary Frye of Westlake; sisters, Alice Puckett and husband, Steve of Virginia and Joyce Smith and husband, Doug of Virginia; numerous nieces and nephews and his special companion, Chi Chi.
His service will be 2:00P.M., Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. The Rev. Chris Fuselier will officiate. Visitation will begin Tuesday 5:00P.M. - 9:00P.M. at the funeral home and resume Wednesday 8A.M. until service time Interment will be in Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery.
