

Rodney “Chuck” Joseph Molbert, 70, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at his residence in Many, LA. He grew up in Rayne, LA. where he was very active in sports; boxing, basketball, and many others. He was proud of his military service in the Marine Corps, having served two tours with the Recon Division in Vietnam. Chuck worked for Reynolds Metals Company in Lake Charles and Reynolds International for three years in Africa alongside his wife Renee. After 30 years of service, he retired and moved to Toledo Bend. Some of his hobbies included fishing, boating, and a love for animals.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Renee Molbert; two daughters Kimberly Molbert Willard and husband James of Iowa, LA., Amy Molbert Enos and husband Scott of Baton Rouge, LA.; and stepson Kristopher Chelette and wife Sara of Dallas, TX.; along with six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Chuck is preceded in death by his son Dr. Benjamin Joseph Molbert, MD; parents Harold “Boone” and Beatrice “Sally” Molbert; and sister Patricia Habetz.
Services will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Visitation will be on Monday, November 21, 2016 from 5:00-9:00pm and will resume on Tuesday at 1:00pm until the time of the service. Burial will follow at LeBleu Cemetery in Fenton, LA.
