She was a member of Westlake United Methodist Church where she served in the Food Pantry and enjoyed singing in the Choir. Warrene graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She retired from McNeese State University as a Secretary in the Maintenance Department after numerous years. Warrene was an avid football fan always cheering for the New Orleans Saints, the Dallas Cowboys and the LSU Tigers. She enjoyed bird watching, crocheting, playing the piano, cooking for friends and family and being a mother to her children.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, Charles E. Adams, Parents, Warren & Kathryn Boyd, Brother, Bertrum Clyde Boyd and Sister, Marion Boyd Jaynes.
She is survived by her Son, Mark Adams of Westlake, La. and her Daughter, Dawn Marshall of Westlake, La., Six Grandchildren, Sandy, Anthony, David, Rachel, Leah,Thomas and 4 Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 10:00 AM until time of service. Memorial Services will be at 1:00 PM at Westlake United Methodist Church, 704 Johnson Street, Westlake, La. with Rev. Allison Sikes officiating. Cremation was entrusted to Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake.
