

Brant Meyers Wilkins, 75, of Rocky River, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born on January 13, 1950, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Edgar Thomas Wilkins and Bertha Dell (Meyers) Wilkins, Brant lived a life rich with curiosity, laughter, and love.
A devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Brant will be remembered most for his kindness, generosity, and unmistakable sense of humor. He graduated from Kent State University and went on to build a respected career as a real estate appraiser, earning the trust of colleagues and clients through his integrity, insight, and steady expertise.
Brant nurtured a lifelong passion for history and learning. Known among family and friends as a walking encyclopedia, he possessed an extraordinary gift for recalling world events and the smallest historical details with clarity and enthusiasm. His vast knowledge made him not only a captivating storyteller but an inspiring presence to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
His life was shaped by curiosity, warmth, and a deep appreciation for the world around him. Brant loved nature, art, and music, and was himself a gifted artist, painting historical figures with remarkable precision and authenticity. His stories, his wisdom, and the joy he brought to others will continue to echo in the hearts of those he touched.
Brant is survived by his brother, Steven Kent Wilkins; his sister Dale Thibeault; his children, Toland Meyers Wilkins (Catherine Victoria Angley Wilkins) and Korin Elizabeth (Wilkins) Reed (Jay Walling Reed); and his grandchildren, Zachary Irvine Wilkins, Bennet Alexander Wilkins, Logan Jerry Reed, and Coty Wilkins Reed. Of his many passions, none were greater than the love he held for his children and grandchildren.
He was well loved because he loved well.
