She is survived by her husband, Gerard Madill, son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Roxanne and grandchildren, Gerard James and Grace Ruby. Additional family include her sister, Madelaine Ragin, nieces Beth and Jennifer and nephews, Logan and Landon and their children, Zachary, David, Kain, Eisley and Marley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Serafina (Di Damo) and Eugene Tanzillo and sister and brother-in-law, Jeanne and Lou Williams.
Janice lived with her family in New York City where she was an actress, singer and dancer. Janice worked on Broadway in New York City and was an integral part of "Gypsy" with Ethel Merman. In 1965, Columbia Records released Neil Diamond's "That New Boy in Town" performed by Jan Tanzy.
Janice and Jerry were married for 52 years. Janice was a loving and doting wife, mother and grandmother.
