RON THOMPSON, passed away April 7, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Margie; dear father of Janet (Rob) Warren, Lana (Jim) Moscrop, Vivian Shumway (Jack Wiemer) and Marti (Jeff) Fedak; loving grandfather of Addison (Cassie) Warren, Spencer (Rebecca) Warren, Adrienne Moscrop, and Mark and Joe Fedak; great grandfather of four; dear brother of Tom Thompson, Jack Hester, and the late Bill Thompson. Ron retired from S.O.H.I.O. after 36 years of service and became a dedicated volunteer to many organizations such as V.I.T.A. in Rocky River and Bay Village, the American Red Cross, and at Fairview Hospital. Ron, along with his late wife Margie, was a founding member of the Lake Erie Squares square dancing club. Family will receive friends THURSDAY, APRIL 15, FROM 2-5 P.M. AT CRACIUN BERRRY FUNERAL HOME, 23040 CENTER RIDGE RD., WESTLAKE, where funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Lima Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made, in Ron's name, to the Rocky River Senior Center, 21012 Hilliard Blvd., Rocky River, 44116.
