Suzanne "Sue" G. Mayer (nee Gaglione), 68, of Bay Village, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 13, 2021 after a year long struggle with biliary cancer. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
Sue graduated from St. Alexis School of Nursing and spent many years as an operating room nurse. She returned to school in the 90's to Ursuline College to study fashion design. She was a talented seamstress who enjoyed sewing and quilting. In her free time she enjoyed cruising, crafting, baking, gardening and playing with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Martin; two daughters, Sara Wanous (Matt) and Nicole Cadiou (Jonathan) and five grandchildren.
Visitation Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 1PM-5PM at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 23040 Center Ridge Rd., Westlake. Masks are required.
