Andrea Lee Bredesen

Andrea Lee Bredesen passed away peacefully at her home in Westlake Village, CA with her family by her side on Friday, October 9, 2015. She was 71 years old. Andy, as most of her friends knew her, was born in San Francisco and attended Sequoia High School in Redwood City, CA. After graduating high school, Andy attended The University of Wisconsin, earning her teaching credential at San Jose State University. Andrea was also a proud member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and has remained very close friends with many of her Sorority Sisters throughout the years. She began teaching elementary school after college in Palo Alto, CA and married the love of her life, Alan Bredesen in 1969. They began married life in Lafayette, CA and later moved to New Cannon, CT and in 1985 Andy moved to Westlake Village, CA! Andrea Bredesen was a kind-hearted woman whose magnetic charm, compassion and charisma touched all of those who came into contact with her. Her love of service and desire to help people allowed her to thrive as a teacher and then go on to become an award winning realtor at Prudential Realtors of WLV in partnership with her husband Alan. Her sacrifice for the happiness and well-being of not only family and friends, but clients alike, was unparalleled. She derived deep and sincere joy from helping others and always did so with a smile on her face. Andy treasured being mother to her son Charley. Sadly in 2007 Alan Bredesen passed away and Andrea retired from real estate in 2009 and spent the last several years donating her time to The Assistance League of Conejo Valley as well as other charities. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her dear friend and companion Robert Yurosek….To know Andy was to Love Her!

She is survived by her son, Charles Alexander. Her brother Cory Lerios, sister in Law Maria Lerios, brother and Sister in law Chris and Ginger Bredesen and her 5 nephews,Andrew, Michael & Demitri Lerios and Christopher and Scott Bredesen!
