In loving memory of Betty Marilyn Armstrong, beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Mom passed away Sunday, Sept 20 after a long battle with dementia. Betty and Bob, her loving husband of 50+ years, enjoyed living in Thousand Oaks for over 30 years and had many friends.
Mom always had a smile and loved her family. She was especially happy when her grandsons, Ian, Evan and Drew came over for a visit. They would show off and entertain her with their bike tricks and silly jokes. She happily worked in her garden for many hours and enjoyed communing with the many lizards that lived on her patio. One of my fondest memories of Mom is having a cup of tea on the patio with her.
Betty was a lifelong Christian and attended Emmanuel Presbyterian Church. Our family hopes that you will remember her and visit her and Dad at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park. Say a prayer and remember happy times with Betty.
