Chris died peacefully on January 4, 2014 at age 70. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Chris was truly a beautiful, wonderful woman who was respected and loved by everyone that knew her. Chris taught 3rd grade in the Santa Clarita School District for 20 years until her retirement. After retirement she enjoyed going to the gym, traveling, working in her yard, and was an active docent for Strathearn Park. It is with great sorrow to announce the loss of such a talented and creative woman that has touched so many lives. A service will be held at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Mortuary, 5600 Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village 91362, on January 16, 2014 at 10:00am.
